frustrated writer

Sometimes life can throw you a googly (curved ball to you, my dear American reader) and you can’t do what it is you like doing the most. In my case it’s writing. Until I have my right eye cataract op on Thursday and then wait five weeks for the new lens to settle in, I cannot write because I need new eyeglasses to write on my laptop. But what is really frustrating is the ideas I keep getting and can’t do a thing about them.

My latest idea is an historical fiction novel in the vein of The Tudors set against the backdrop of the reigns of Mary I and Elizabeth I. I won’t go any further than that because I’m still finishing books two & three of my trilogy The Brittle Saga, not to mention the ever-growing list of WIPs (Works in Progress) I must wade through.

But not to worry, in a few weeks I will be racing through these WIPs like there is no tomorrow.

Fingers crossed nothing else crops up to slow me down.
